Side Entry Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve
Side-entry Trunnion-mounted Ball Valve is available in split-body, two-piece, or three-piece bolted-body designs. They are trunnion-supported, with spring-energized floating seats, full or reduced bore, and a bi-directional seal.
Side Entry Trunnion Ball Valves' typical application is for gas or crude oil pipelines, with larger sizes (up to 40 inches) and higher pressure classes (ASME Class 2500).
Raw material can be either forged or cast steel. Material range: carbon steels, stainless steels, duplex and super duplex stainless steels, and nickel-based alloys.

Options
- Welded body
- DPE (Double Piston Effect): the seat can be energized by upstream pressure or by body cavity pressure.
- DUAL (SPE upstream and DPE downstream): combining the two seat designs explained above, a double barrier can be assured in case of seat sealing failure.
- STEM EXTENSION. For special applications, the operator (lever/gear/actuator) can be lifted by an extension fixed to valve body and a joint coupled to the stem.
